美国擦鞋匠30年捐20万美元

　　美国擦鞋匠阿尔伯特莱克西30年来向一家儿童医院捐出总额超过20万美元的善款。这笔钱来自他所挣的小费。

　　莱克西说，他从1982年起就在匹兹堡儿童医院摆摊擦鞋，大部分人都只付给他1美元小费。他将自己一生积蓄中超过三分之一的钱都捐给了儿童医院免费护理基金会，用于资助无力负担孩子医药费的父母。一名医生说莱克西这样做“是因为他爱孩子”。

　　Albert Lexie, an American shoeshine man, has given a children's hospital a total of more than $200,000 in tips he's collected over the last 30 years。

　　Lexie says he's been shining shoes at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh since 1982. Most people only tip him $1. He's donated over a third of his lifetime salary to the Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund, which helps parents who can't afford to pay their sick children's medical costs. One doctor said Lexie does it "because he loves the kids"。
